Workshop Description

I’m so excited to be hosting this “Acting Through Song” workshop led by the incredible Kennedy Caughell . It is for my advanced teen students who will get a chance to work with Kennedy one on one as well as ask her questions about her Broadway career.

I have had the immense pleasure of working with Kennedy on a few songs that I wrote and she is a remarkable vocalist and performer. Throughout my career I have learned from so many different artists and I am thrilled to be able to offer this opportunity to my students.

Kennedy’s credits include Elphaba in “Wicked”, Carol King in “Beautiful, “The Great Comet” and it was just announced she will be joining the Broadway Bound company of “Paradise Square”.

She’ll be in Toronto for one day leading a song performance workshop meant for MT performers who want to take their songs to the next level. Each singer will work with Nicky individually on a specific song and observe the other participants.
